STAR stands for:
- Situation: Set the context
- Task: Explain what needed to be done
- Action: Describe what YOU specifically did
- Result: Share the outcome and impact
Example: Question: "Tell me about a time you improved a process."
STAR Answer:
- S: "At my previous company, our customer support team was taking 48 hours to respond to tickets."
- T: "I was tasked with reducing response time to under 24 hours."
- A: "I analyzed ticket patterns, implemented an auto-categorization system, and created response templates for common issues."
